I found Dr Paviour to be caring, thorough and personable. My experience contrasts sharply with the laissez-faire attitude I received from my own NHS surgery (which upsets me deeply, as I believe passionately in the NHS). Dr Paviour conducted a thorough examination and a clear explanation of his finding and recommendations going forward; he also offered further contact should I be in need of subsequent clarification. Within a matter of hours, he had provided a comprehensive written report confirming his findings and clinical recommendations. This is medicine at its best.

I had decided to book an appointment with him following a great deal of research, and after finding him to have excellent patient reviews as well as a wealth of knowledge and expertise I was confident I would receive a high standard of care. In my appointment he not only listened but also made me feel truly heard and validated, responded in a very timely manner to my emails, took the time to write a very detailed follow up letter with clear actions, and conveys a genuine desire to get to the root of my complex medical issues.

I have reflected a lot on the difficult few years that we have had with our daughter (thankfully now well on the road to a full recovery). From the first meeting when he called out her eating disorder (a huge relief to me after fighting for the previous 6 months to get her help), his clear recommendation of inpatient care, his attention and care during her time in hospital and eventually her discharge to day support. I trusted Dr. Mistry fully from Day 1; he was always clear, professional, direct (but with compassion), entirely patient-centred and extremely responsive in terms of communication.
