I came to Dr Mistry with extremely bad anxiety and felt like I was completely losing control and all quality of life. Dr Mistry suggested going on diazepam which I was initially worried to do as I was so worried about becoming addicted. However, Dr Mistry eased my fears and it was the best decision I could have made. The diazepam brought down my anxiety levels extremely well and out of the terrified state I was in and made me feel normal again. Once it was time to start coming off the diazepam Dr Mistry suggested the amounts to decrease by but left it to me to decide; which reduced my anxiety about coming off it as I felt like I was in control. I came off it slowly but fairly steadily, with plateaus if I needed it. I am now completely off diazepam and I have experienced absolutely no withdrawal effects and no feelings of addiction at all. I am so grateful to Dr Mistry for helping me realise the diazepam was there to help me and I was at no risk of addiction, and for ultimately giving me my life back.

Luca showed great professionalism to create a safe and supportive environment during our sessions. He is very empathetic, listened attentively and offered great insightful guidance towards creating what support I needed out of our sessions.

My daughter went to see Dr Anthony for depression and anxiety, she had seen numerous doctors in the past and each time she still felt the same, no one seemed to be able to help her. She found Dr Anthony's details on the internet and went for an initial consultation. This consultation was just what she needed, Dr Anthony was professional, patient, understanding, everything you would want a Doctor to be when you have a young woman feeling so sad and anxious about life. I would also like to commend his secretary, who as the first point of contact was very professional, understanding and efficient

My journey with Venetia spans over 8 years, and I have nothing but good words for how she conducted herself both professionally and on the human level throughout this time. I came to her with a sense of general uneasiness in life that started to become debilitating, and thanks to her effort and dedication I have now developed the tools to understand myself and how I operate in the world to a previously inconceivable degree. She is an exceptional listener and can handle anything you throw at her, as well as being a master at picking up little threads and patterns entangled in the unconscious mind that would have taken decades to even notice, let alone act upon. I could write a long essay on all the benefits and life lessons I enjoyed throughout my experience with her but I will keep this brief to not get people to suspect I was paid to write a review! I will end with this - if you are looking for a loving, dedicated, and extremely professional psychologist to tackle life's struggles, I would highly recommend you give Venetia a try.

Prof Bloomfield was the nicest doctor I've met and allowed me to ask all my questions and make the best use of the time possible. I think he may have gone slightly over the time limit which is very much appreciated to make sure our appointment went well and we were set up for the next steps. Furthermore, I really appreciate his empathy and validation in caring not only about my condition, but treating myself as a person and reassuring my family. It goes without saying he is at the top of his field in both research and clinical experience and that provides a great level of reassurance and admiration when speaking too him. I look forward to seeing him again.

Ben is extremely easy to speak to and confide in. He makes the experience very comfortable and safe. He is understanding and has a great way of handling difficult sessions. He allowed me to come to huge realisations on my own, but slowly working through what was happening in my past and present. I could not have asked for a better experience.
