I am immensely grateful to Mr. Gudsoorkar for the exceptional care he provided during one of the most challenging periods of my life. Battling undiagnosed ulcerative colitis, losing vision due to uveitis and cataracts, I was in a dire state when I first visited him. Mr. Gudsoorkar not only addressed my eye conditions but also played a crucial role in the management of my overall health. From my very first consultation, Mr. Gudsoorkar was thorough and compassionate. He quickly identified the seriousness of my condition and urgently referred me to a team of physicians who could address my ulcerative colitis, which was crucial in the comprehensive management of my health.His approach to treating my uveitis was meticulous and tailored specifically to my needs, which not only alleviated my immediate discomfort but also stabilized my condition for the long term. Following the management of my uveitis, Mr. Gudsoorkar performed cataract surgery on both of my eyes. The surgeries were a tremendous success. He went above and beyond his duties as an ophthalmic surgeon to ensure that all aspects of my health were being cared for. He quite literally saved my life and my sight. Thank you, Mr. Gudsoorkar, for everything.

Mr Pal reorganised his appointments to fit in a test on my eye and remained late in his clinic to check the results and explain his future plans for my treatment . His whole team including his secretary treated me efficiently and with care

Mr Ho performed an operation for a partially detached retina in my left eye and a retinopexy in my right eye. He carefully explained all of the options available to me, along with the associated risks and what to expect post op. I was very nervous about having an eye operation but he provided reassurance and took time to answer all of my questions, both before my procedures and at each of my follow up appointments. I’m also grateful that Mr Ho has been available when I have needed an appointment at short notice. I would highly recommend Mr Ho.

- Initial meeting was welcoming with Mr Lee having pre-briefed himself on my condition (scan obtained via my Opticians). I felt at ease from the start. - Mr Lee provided explanations in an unhurried, concise & personable manner - Mr Lee also highlighted an incidental finding; I am liaising with my GP practice on this issue - I received Mr Lee's letter to my GP practice (cc'd to myself & Opticians) via email, the same day, following my appointment My overall experience has provided me with confidence that my condition will be effectively monitored and treated

Mr. Horgan is never in a hurry. You are treated as a person and not an anonymous patient. He is exceptionally kind and personable and he quickly found a solution for my cataract surgery, for which the NHS had rejected me due to postural issues. From my first meeting, all my concerns were waylaid by his careful explanation of what to expect. I simply had no questions to ask him at any stage, as he’s worked for decades on cataracts and he and his team have also fine tuned the post operative procedures. It was a joy to be able to shower, bend over, resume life normally within 24-48 hours of having the procedure. Now, three weeks after the last operation I can see perfectly. In addition I have the Premium lenses which are not available on the NHS, but which mean I no longer need reading or distance glasses. I was not insured, but the overall price was manageable, given the offsetting of the costs of many pairs of new glasses. Mr Horgan calls you two days after your surgery. Then you have a follow up appointment three weeks later. The team at the Battersea Eye clinic are very professional and you are immediately given tea and sandwiches as soon as you’re ready for them after the procedure. In a strange way I shall miss being so cosseted! Full marks to everyone and I highly recommend the team.
