Following an ultrasound of a neck lump I discovered in the autumn, I was admitted for a biopsy and given results that pointed to the need for surgery. This is the point at which I met Mr Dwivedi, and the rest of his wonderful team at UCLH. I arrived with a plethora of questions, and was impressed and reassured at the certainty and speed with which these were answered by Mr Dwivedi. I felt able to ask everything, and left with a detailed diagram of the surgery, that he kindly took the time to draw during the consultation. As a classically-trained singer and professional musician, I was very concerned about surgery that ran so close to my instrument – the voice. Thankfully, this concern was unwarranted. The surgery went as well as could possibly be expected and I will remain ever grateful to Mr Dwivedi for taking my concerns about the laryngeal nerve – during hemithyroidectomy surgery – very seriously, affording me as much reassurance as I could have in advance. My sincerest thanks to Mr Dwivedi for the care, attention to detail and outcome I was provided throughout this challenging experience.

Excellent. Very pleasant and listened and most importantly helpful. There was a bit of confusion why my gp referred me to ENT - it probably should have been endocrinology, but from just speaking with me, and hearing a breathiness, he realised there was an issue with my vocal chords. I had a paralysed vocal cord 15-16 years ago and thought it had resolved but it seems it only improved, but is still present. I also coincidentally have been experiencing dizziness the last few days and Dr Jumani was also able to witness and treat this.

I had my surgery for cholestoma with Dr Wong more than a year ago, and I have been feeling good ever since with no more putrid discharge from the ear. Today I had my MRI result confirming that the tumour has not returned and I am extra grateful. I am thankful to have undergone surgery and I am ever so grateful to have come out without any side effects. THank you Dr Wong you are truly a fine surgeon.

Wonderful experience. I wanted a subtle rhinoplasty and he really delivered. The results are perfect and in keeping with my face but still make a big difference.

I was very happy to be in Mr Joshi's safe hands. He was the third and final consultant I saw, the previous 2 having failed to recognise, empathise, or understand the problems I was facing with an injury to my face and nose preventing me from breathing through my nostrils. He set out a clear plan of how he intended to resolve the issue and the with an operation was able to give me the ability to breathe back!

Joe was extremely professional and knowledgeable during my case. He expertly handled a complicated issue in a very scientific manner. I felt in very safe hands with him and would recommend him to anyone.
