Excellent facility where all staff provide excellent care and it was refreshing to see everyone taking such pride in their work. It is clear to see that The Duchy hospital's staff are pleased to be working within that environment and are outwardly happy in their work. Many thanks to all staff

I cannot fault the receptionist, the nurses, the anaesthetist and his team, the after op team in the recovery room, the physiotherapists, the cleaners, the caterers and all the staff. Everyone was friendly, alert, extremely competent, cheerful and really keen to help with pain and recovery and independence and restoring self belief after the op. I loved how they help with the feeling of normality and safety. I felt really welcomed, cared for and I felt that everyone knew exactly what they were doing. The deep cleaning of cubicles was very, very impressive too. Well done, Duchy Hospital and thank you all for your help. I really appreciate all that you have done for me. PS - really, really sorry about the poor I had to give on the wait time. I do not see this as your fault, at all. I appreciate the pandemic causing delays, the growing elderly population needing operations, I support the strikes and the need for better wages for NHS staff. Also, I fully appreciate that the The Duchy actually helped to reduce my wait time - as I had been scheduled for St Michael's in Hayle. I have been living with arthritis for 3 years which has felt like such a long time. The pandemic affected the face to face appointments and delays occurred as phone calls had to suffice at the time! From diagnosis to operation was actually two years. Two years seems a long time, when an acquaintance of mine in the Netherlands waited 4 months between diagnosis and the op. Living with arthritis really affected my ability to walk and to work and a decrease of earnings has been a problem. Anyway, I do thank you all for everything. The wait time problem has affected many, and not just me, and I know you are all doing everything in your power to help as many people as possible - you have my utmost respect. Thank you, all, so much.

Duchy hospital is a far cry from its big sister over the road. From the moment you walk through the entrance to the moment you exit the whole experience is as pleasant as any hospital visit could be. The reception staff, the nurses and technicians through to the Drs everyone is friendly and put you at ease. Fantastic place to be for health investigations and procedures.
