I stayed at the Phoenix Hospital on 31 July 2023. I cannot rate the hospital highly enough!! Every single person I came into contact with was lovely! Before deciding on surgery, I did a lot of research on hospitals and surgeons and chose Mr Nigel Carver. During my consultation, he gave me all the information I needed about the procedure. I put all my trust in him and I’m so glad I did! Three weeks after surgery I’m already ecstatic with the outcome! On top of being an amazing surgeon, Mr Carver genuinely cares about his patients. I am so pleased I chose Mr Carver. I’d recommend him to anyone considering surgery! On the day of the surgery I was taken down to theatre by Brian, who was so kind and even let me hold his hand because I was scared of having the cannula in my hand. I’m so grateful to him for that. I couldn’t have asked for a lovelier person to be with me as I went into theatre. The nursing staff were absolutely amazing too. Although every nurse was lovely, I’d particularly like to thank Beth for her compassion and kindness during the night shift. What a wonderful lady!! My whole experience with the Phoenix Hospital was amazing and I’d recommend anyone to go there, you won’t be disappointed!

Fantastic service, wonderful consultant and nurse, everyone lovely and such a nice hospital too

First visit was for a consultation with Dr Lathika Wickramasinghe. No problems whatsoever. Second visit was for a biopsy. A bit concerning that all of the hospital documents said "Female" and had to be scribbled (including the specimen labels). My date of birth was listed as February instead of January. Also unnerving that a few things were misplaced and had to be found just before the biopsy started (the tool being used for the specimen collection). Third visit I was told that there wasn't an appointment scheduled, even though I'd spoken with the Dr LW's secretary and a receptionist TWICE in the two weeks leading up to the appointment. Fortunately Molly & Bethany were on-hand to be extremely helpful and remove stitches after FOUR weeks. They also ensured that I was seen by Dr LW (after almost two hours) to get much needed results & a prescription to start treatment.

This is a small, private hospital. Welcoming, professional and friendly staff. Nothing is too much trouble. I couldn't have wished for better care. Thank you!
