Our Westminster Maternity Suite offers expert consultant-led private maternity care ensuring that you and your baby are in safe hands.
As part of Guy’s and St Thomas’, one of the UK’s most prestigious NHS teaching hospitals, our highly skilled team of obstetricians and fetal specialists provide complete care for every stage of pregnancy. We offer a range of birthing options including caesarean section and tailor care to your individual needs and personal choice. Our services include pre-pregnancy counselling, care for multiple and complex pregnancies and antenatal classes to help you prepare for life with a new baby.
We pride ourselves on giving our patients exceptional care and support from a dedicated multidisciplinary team of consultant obstetricians, neonatologists, anaesthetists and midwives. Our ultrasound scanning and fetal medicine service is led by specialists in maternal and fetal medicine who will be with you every step of the way as your baby grows.

Well Baby Clinic:
We’re pleased to provide ongoing care for you and your baby once you’ve left our private maternity suite. Our Well Baby Clinic offers baby health checks from newborn to 1 year to support you as you start family life with a new baby.
With medical assessments at key milestones, our team of paediatric specialists are on hand to answer your questions and address any concerns you may have about your baby’s health. From general health checks to growth, development and feeding advice, we’re here to support you at every stage.

We are very grateful for the help we got at the Westminster maternity for our newborn boy! The midwifes were very friendly, patient, responsive, and gave us good advice - we are especially grateful to Margaret, Sarah, Gemma, who took care of us! Our consultant (Dr Sri Sankaran) and anesthesiologist (Dr Reshma Patel) were wonderful, attentive and the procedure went just as planned. All in all, if we have more children in the future this will still be our go-to place!

90% of the midwives were absolutely amazing and I have so much to thank them for as they taught me everything from breastfeeding to diaper changes. They were always available within minutes. Even though the catering staff was kind as well, the food was edible but I expected better food for the price.

The reception staff weren't always helpful, they didn't know why some appointments were needed (i.e. with the midwives) and weren't always on the ball. Billing team were very efficient. Our midwife, Molly, was excellent!
