Dr O’Dwyer is also a Consultant Neurology Advisor for the British Army and holds the rank of Officer in the Royal Army Medical Corps. He attended the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in 2016. He has also earned a Master’s in military leadership and business administration and management, achieving level 7 recognition in Leadership and Command in partnership with King’s College London.
Dr O’Dwyer has authored numerous academic articles published in esteemed peer-reviewed journals. He is actively engaged in cutting-edge research and serves as the principal investigator for several pivotal national clinical trials related to epilepsy. Beyond his clinical work, he has lent his expertise as a specialist advisor for the NHS and the Care Quality Commission (CQC) in the development of therapeutic strategies. Dr O’Dwyer further shares his insights through a neurology blog, where he imparts valuable knowledge to a broader audience.

I have never found a dr that has been so thorough … from the moment we saw him, his manner, attitude and knowledge was a breath of fresh air. His bedside manner is extemporary and he helped and explained everything that we needed to understand. When I’d been discharged from hospital, I felt like I’d been left blowing in the wind, with no support from the hospital or understanding what had been going on. Dr 0’dwyer, provided the answers and helped me on the path to recovery. It was a pleasure to meet you and I am so very grateful to you.
