Dr Almas Malik is a General Practitioner who graduated from The University of Warwick School of Medicine in 2007. Apart from her enjoyment in medicine she also has a great interest in pharmacology and medicines. Therefore before commencing a career in Medicine, she completed a Master’s degree in Pharmacy at King’s College London and worked in Chelsea and Westminster Hospital.
As a medical graduate, she completed her medical training in London and has gained experience working in several London hospitals, including University College Hospital London,Princess Royal Hospital and the Bethlem Royal Hospital. She works specifically in General Practice and her speciality training includes accident and emergency, psychiatry, ENT, paediatrics, general medicine and surgery.
With her skills and experience as a General Practitioner, she has impressively progressed to the position as a Principal General Practitioner, alongside her private practice.
Dr Malik provides her patients with a gentle approach, focusing on the needs and concerns on the patients, to give them the best possible treatments. She is also enthusiastic about mental well-being on physical health. With her interest in this field, she is completing a diploma on Nutrition to further enhance her understanding of disease prevention.
Apart from her clinical work, she has taught for medical students at King’s College London and likes to attend sessions at the gym.
