Dr Chan qualified at St Bartholomew's and The Royal London Medical School in 2005. He trained in several large teaching hospitals, gaining experience in a wide range of medical and surgical specialties. Having worked in many different practices across London, Dr Chan has rotated through adult acute medicine, accident and emergency, paediatrics, psychiatry, rheumatology, nephrology, vascular surgery, care of the elderly, and urology.
He is passionate about delivering excellent care in general practice and works as a GP Specialist Advisor for the Care Quality Commission, and encourages practices to provide people with safe, effective, compassionate, and high-quality care. He also works for Night Doctor to provide out of hours cover for private practices in North and Central London, and The Portland Hospital. In addition to this, he teaches Medical Students as a GP tutor at Kings College London.
