Dr Angela Drummond is a highly qualified dermatologist located at the BMI Ross Hall Hospital. After qualifying from the University of Glasgow in 1993 she developed a keen interest in dermatology and joined the specialist register in 1994. Since 2004 she has held a post as a Consultant Dermatologist in the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital and the New Victoria ACH.
Dr Drummond’s expertise lies in connective tissue diseases and she has run a clinic dedicated to the diagnosis and management of these conditions since 2007. Other areas of interest include skin lesions, psoriasis, acne and eczema. She was the Assistant Secretary and then the Secretary of the Scottish Dermatological Society from 2008-2011. She was the Lead Consultant for the South from 2005-2008 and then 2016-2019. Additionally, she is an esteemed member of the British Association of Dermatologists. Complimentary to her clinical work, Dr Drummond has a keen interest in teaching, she was Training Programme Director for the West of Scotland Registrar Programme for 8 years and the Lead Training Programme Director for Scotland for Dermatology from 2013-2016.
