Mr Mohammad Ashraf Khan Raja is a Consultant General & Colorectal Surgeon who practises in the UK.

Mr Raja graduated from King Edward Medical College Lahore, Pakistan in 1984 and received his basic surgical training in Mayo Hospital Lahore, Pakistan and acquired Fellowship of College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (FCPS) in 1991.

He then Came to England and obtained his FRCSI in 1991 and FRCS (Eng) 1992, he joined South West Thames Higher Surgical Training Scheme. During this training, he completed MSc in Surgical Sciences in 1996 from University of London, Diploma in Medical Education in 1997 from Cardiff and Intercollegiate FRCS in 1998. He achieved his certificate of completion of surgical training in 1999. He has several publications in peer-reviewed journals.

Mr Raja is actively involved in teaching and training of junior doctors, medical students and nurses.
