Dr Punukollu is an expert in the management of a range of psychiatric disorders - general adult and addictions. He sees a great number of patients with a complex array of problems.
He has a great breadth of clinical knowledge and believes in working collaboratively with his patients and is trained in psychopharmacology and psychotherapy.
Dr Punukollu gained experience by working in Central London Psychiatry training posts over 7 years. He was awarded a competitive grant to undertake a fellowship at the UCLA Resnick Neuropsychiatric Institute in the USA where he gained experience in addiction psychiatry research.
Dr Punukollu works in the NHS where he is lead consultant Psychiatrist for Camden and Islington NHS substance Misuse services, he lectures UCL medical students and is programme director for North Central London postgraduate psychiatry training scheme.
He has experience in psychopharmacology and regularly attends workshops in the UK and USA in order to keep his skills at the forefront.
He has developed an Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) clinic in the NHS with a special interest in management of patients with ADHD and addiction.
