Dr Catherine Atnas is a Clinical Psychologist with considerable experience working in primary care settings. Early in her career, she obtained a Psychology BSc at Royal Holloway, University of London, before later completing a Masters in Clinical and Public Health Aspects of Addictions. She would later spend time within inpatient addictions services, before later going on to complete a Postgraduate diploma in Neuro-psychological Medicine. After finishing her Doctorate at the University of Surrey, Dr. Atnas obtained a diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and is an accredited CBT therapist.
As mentioned previously, Dr Atnas has wide experience in a variety of settings and continues her work treating a multitude of psychological difficulties. To this extent, she is involved in the treatment of a range of emotional difficulties, including depression, anxiety, eating disorders, sexual problems and post-natal depression. She is currently based in a Central London NHS Specialist Service and in private practice at The Chelsea Psychology Clinic.
