Dr Chris Jones is an expert in sports related medicine based in London, UK. He graduated with his primary medical degree from Newcastle University in 2007, before more recently completing his Sport and Exercise Medicine MSc at University College London. Currently working as Charlton Athletic FC's Club Doctor, he has a wealth of experience managing the evaluation and rehabilitation across sports such as football, rugby, athletics, and also spent some time working at the Ministry of Defence's rehabilitation centre.
Dr Jones offers extensive fitness testing and movement analysis, as well being an expert in general medical screening and physical evaluations. Some specialist areas of interest include using exercise to conservatively manage cases of osteoarthritis, neuromuscular training, and injury prevention. In addition to this, Dr Jones has conducted research into the tension pneumothorax guidelines and presented his findings at a BASEM conference.
