Dr Christina Choy is a very experienced Oncoplastic Breast Surgeon specialising in Breast Surgery. Dr Choy graduated with an MBBS degree from the University of Sydney in 1986. Choy undertook her postgraduate speciality training across well-known countries such as Australia and Hong Kong. Dr Choy also worked as fellow in the UK in St Bartholomew’s Hospital and the Royal Marsden Hospital before taking on consultatn post as locum at St Bartholomew's, King's College and Newham General Hospital. She worked as a substnetivconsultant Oncoplastic breast surgeon at Homerton University Hospital for over 14 years. Currently, Dr Choy is now in private practices including Harley Street Clinic, HCA Chiswick Outpatient and Diagnostic Center, the Portland Hospital and the Princess Grace Hospital. Dr Choy worked in a multi-disciplinary team in the London Breast Institute over 10 years with breast care nurses, pathologists, oncologists and radiologists.

Dr Christina Choy performs a huge variety of medical procedures for her breast patients including breast conservation surgery with oncoplastic technique, mastectomy with skin and nipple sparing with reconstruction, fat transfer, sentinel node biopsy with dual localisation, wire guided procedure, breast reduction, augmentation and uplift. Choy is very experienced in offering breast screening and assessment procedures for breast pain, nipple discharge, mastitis and lumps. She also offers family history clinic, other breast cancer risk assessments and genetic testing. 

Dr Christina Choy has involved in researches on the genetic aspect of breast cancer by studying gene arrays and studying data of Afrocarribean young women with breast cancer. She also studies ethnic barriers affecting women in accessing to early breast cancer diagnosis and aim to resolve barriers to allow easier access to medical care.

There are publications by Dr Choy.  These can be reviewed on pubmed on topics on DCIS, breast reconstruction with ADM and implant after skin and nipple sparing mastectomies, surgical technique on nipple sparing mastectomy, comparison of breast weight and volume correlation


Choy is an Oncoplastic and Reconstructive Breast Surgeon fully registered with the General Medical Council. She also holds medical board registrations in Hong Kong and Australia. Choy is also a member the Association of Breast Surgeons in UK and Breast Surgeon International. Dr Choy is fluent in English, Chinese - Cantonese.
