Dr. Pollard has been very helpful for me. He is great at providing insights, and a framework for tackling, going forward. Very professional, and personable, I recommend Dr. Pollard to anyone looking for support.

I have been to many psychiatrists and have found Dr M-P to be the best. The thing for me is that I know I can trust him with things that I can not tell anybody else and this is so important for me. I also like that he is gentle but tough and doesn’t mince his words which again what I need in my situation. But he is also extremely calming and knowledgeable on all matters of the mind, integrative medicine etc...

I have seen a number of therapists prior to seeing Dr Muller-Pollard, all of whom I never gelled with. I have been asked to fill out numerous Q&A forms, been told various things and prescribed various medications and left each and every one of those appointments wondering whether I'd even find the right therapist and whether the problem was actually me. I know this is a terrible cliché but on my first appointment with Dr Muller-Pollard, it felt like a lightbulb had finally gone off - this was someone who not only understood me but wanted to help me. I come out of every session so far feeling like I've actually achieved something rather than sitting there clock-watching as I have with other therapists. I know I have a long way to go in my personal battles but I underestimated quite how important it was to have the right therapist. I cannot recommend him enough.

The past 6 weeks have been a journey of emotional waves and rationality, which I now know I have reached the 'wise'. As discussed, on Wednesday last week I had a 'lightbulb moment' and I am still in awe and I know there will be more of those 'moments' in the future following on from that. I have such huge gratitude to yourself and the entire team here at Nightingale Hospital. I look forward to seeing you for the future follow-ups.

Dear Rebecca, It was great to see you and Chris on Thursday. My daughter commented afterwards that it's really refreshing to meet with medical professionals who really understand her health issues/condition; something she often hasn't experienced before. She was once seen by a CAMHS psychiatrist who wasn't familiar with EDS and who told her it couldn't possible be as painful as she was stating. Thank you so much for all your help. For the first time in quite a while, my daughter yesterday referred to the time 'when' she'll be returning to uni in January rather than 'if' which really pleased me. Obviously, I don't want her to be there if she's really struggling and it's making her miserable, but I hope she'll give it another go. She weighed herself this morning and has lost another 6 lbs! Once again, many thanks. We really appreciate it.
