Dr Clare Thompson is a General Practitioner who has been working in Kensington and Chelsea for more than 6 years. She graduated from Imperial College School of Medicine in 2005, and then achieved her MRCGP in 2012.
Dr Thompson has a particular interest in paediatrics, women’s health, men’s health and sports medicine. She focusses on preparing her patients for sporting events through ensuring they are 100% fit and can push them to their boundaries. She also enjoys taking part in sport, having won a 250km ultramarathon race across the Gobi desert in Mongolia. Furthermore, with her interest in Paediatric Medicine she is currently completing a diploma at Oxford University specialising in infectious diseases. She has also written a paper on children with Periodic Fever Syndrome and is carrying out research at Great Ormond Street Hospital.
Despite her busy schedule she provides home visits for special care patients. She is also a member of the Independent Doctors Federation and The Chelsea Clinical Society.
