Deniah Pachai is a qualified GP, Medical Acupuncturist and Lu Jong Yoga teacher. She has been registered with the General Medical Council for nearly 17 years. Her aim is to achieve better health and wellbeing for people by combining Western Medical knowledge with a broader range of treatment options than the West has to offer.
In her work as a private and NHS GP in London, she finds herself confronted on a daily basis with the discomfort and distress that illness and stress cause, as well as the dissatisfaction when conventional treatments available don't have the desired effect. Having personally experienced the benefits of acupuncture and regular yoga she offers clients an alternative to the illness pathway with Acupuncture and Moving Mindfulness Meditation practices. She teaches Lu Jong and Tog Chöd which are ancient eastern physical practices rooted in Tibetan Medicine and Tibetan Buddhism. . When conventional treatments and medication do not treat chronic pain, allergic, inflammatory and hormonal conditions adequately, she wants to be able to offer patients an alternative, in the form of Western Medical Acupuncture that uses our understanding of how the nervous system responds to the presence of a needle in order to bring relief of pain and other conditions.
She encourages exercise and offers a moving, mindfulness routine that can be done in just 10 minutes a day in the comfort of your own home, garden, office or hotel room when travelling, and can easily fit into a busy lifestyle. She therefore practices and teaches Lu Jong and trains new Lu Jong teachers.
