Dr Dharmintra Pasupathy is a Consultant Obstetrician and Sub-specialist in Maternal and Fetal Medicine. He completed his undergraduate training at the University of Liverpool and post-graduate training at leading centres in Bristol and Cambridge. His fellowship in maternal & fetal medicine was completed at Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital and he has been a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists since 2004.
Dr Pasupathy is passionate when it comes to patient care and therefore provides a comprehensive package of care which includes antenatal consultations, prenatal diagnosis and ultrasound scans, delivery care and care in the post natal period. Despite his background in pregnancy, he is focused on ensuring that all pregnancies remain a positive experience for the parents. He offers private maternity care to both women with low and high risk pregnancies, with the expertise to provide care in cases when complications occasionally arise. His main focus is on ensuring that all pregnancies remain a positive experience for the expecting parents.
Dr Pasupathy is also a Senior Lecturer in Maternal & Fetal Medicine and Perinatal Epidemiology at King's College London. He has an active programme of research focused on reducing adverse maternal and fetal outcomes related to labour and delivery and he was awarded an MSc in Epidemiology from the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine and a PhD from the University of Cambridge. His research is funded by leading funding agencies in the UK. Dr Pasupathy's work has been widely published in some of the most well respected and well known medical journals including the British Medical Journal (BMJ) and the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA).
