I had a clear diagnosis of the underlying issue causing my symptoms, the proposed course of action to rectify was clearly explained and the surgery was a success. I feel very good about the whole process. The only challenge was scheduling time with Mr Karadaglis - I do feel the administrative support he has could be improved.

Good experience. Clear explanation of what was going on in many shoulder. Clear explanation of what happened post operation. Only issue I can think of was what appeared to be an administrative error which confused my procedure booking and i had no pre-op screening etc. Not a train smash, but just an error.

I met Mr Karadaglis with worry and pain, he explained what was going on and what procedure I would need in detail. I underwent surgery with him which ended up more extensive than thought and he explained everything to me in full detail. I’m now on the road to full recovery and couldn’t have asked for a better person to help me .

Mr Karadaglis went to great lengths to explain my condition in simple understandable terms and to give a prognosis about what would happen if I did nothing. Ηe explained the operation procedure that would be necessary to straighten the finger and the importance of pinning the arthritic tip of the finger with a screw as a first stage and subsequently releasing the rest of the finger in a further operation. The outcome for me should be a restoration of movement except in the tip of the finger but the whole finger will be straight and not bent.

Overall I would recommend Mr Karadaglis. He sent a lot of time explaining the diagnosis, and seemed very knowledgeable and experienced- I trusted him with my surgery. It would have been appreciated if he spent slightly more time on the implications post surgery, as I don’t think i was prepared for them. Finally, I was surprised to get the impression that he hadn’t fully reviewed my notes from previous consultations before conducting the surgery, and was surprised by what he found!
