Dr Heaney is a London based Consultant Neurologist. He treats patients who suffer from disorders of the nervous system and has a specialist interest in management of neurological disorders in pregnancy and complex epilepsy as well as the diagnosis and treatment of headaches. He is currently appointed as consultant at both The National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery and UCL Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. He sees private patients at the Queens Square Consulting Rooms.
Dr Heaney graduated from the Glasgow Western Infirmary in 1996. His strong interest in research lead him to complete a PhD at UCL. After spending over three years focusing on research, Dr Heaney went back to clinical work, completing his training as a Neurologist in London.
Dr Heaney is passionate about driving advances in his field and has published numerous articles in leading medical journals. He was also appointed Honorary Senior Lecturer at UCL Institute of Neurology.
