The Doctor was understanding and clear and provided me with excellent explanations

Dr Maniyar is very knowledgeable, he takes the time to explain what is happening in clear terms. He truly cares for his patients and makes you feel less stressed. He is always very friendly. I feel very safe knowing Dr Maniyar is looking after me. He also links directly with my Cardiologist Dr Clapp and does not make any harsh decisions without thorough investigations. Jaime Lawrence Dr Maniyars secretary is outstanding, she takes her time, she remembers Dr Maniyers patients. She is always so warm and welcoming. She makes you feel at ease and that nothing is too much trouble. She gets the job done! and does is so well with care and attention. She makes you feel important!! Thank you so much.

I had a pretty bad time in June 2020. A localised headache on the left side of my head and a dropping left eyelid which seemed to come from nowhere. The pain lasted a month. I went through a few doctors before I met Dr Maniyar, but whilst helpful, they didn’t give me a diagnosis. Dr Maniyar was spot on with his diagnosis which was then confirmed by the MRI/MRA. His prediction of how the affliction would progress was also correct so I had no concerns that I’d make a full recovery, which a further scan confirmed 3 months after. Thanks Doctor.

I have been with Dr Maniyar for many years. He is the only neurologist since the age of 18 who fully listens to my lifestyle and types of migraine I suffer from. He explains the best treatment available and I honestly couldn't ask for a better consultant to assist my migraines. I would fully recommend Dr Maniyar when seeking a neurologist.

I went to Dr Maniyar utterly broken by chronic migraine and convinced that my life was over. He told me calmly that it wasn't and that I'd improve. I was also grateful that he stressed it wasn't my fault. He was clear, proactive and I'm now back at work. I can't speak highly enough of how much he has helped me - he has given me back my life.

Dr Maniyar has a lovely gentle manner about him. He is always willing to answer any questions that I have without making me feel stupid. He is the first neurologist that I have seen that has taken my migraines seriously and has helped me enormously. I have seen him both as a private patient and an NHS patient and there is no difference in his care. I am lucky to be having treatment for my migraines from him.

Dr Maniyar quickly found the only treatment that alleviates my migraines after two years of trying to get help from GPs with no real solution and feeling somewhat desperate. He has always been extremely understanding and helpful. I would absolutely recommend him.
