Dr Thing was thorough, professional and moved quickly to organise necessary investigations and treatment of my back pains. Always accessible and prompt to respond; Very good bed-side manner; Would definitively recommend him and the Clinic at Canary Wharf.

I have seen Dr Thing a number of time snow regarding my hamstring and knee. I found Dr Thing extremely clear in his explanation. He xplained clearly what the problem was and the course of treatment. He gave me time and answered all my questions in a way that put me at my ease and was reassuring. All appointments were kept and on time and each appointment was followed up with a letter of explanation. I can thoroughly recommend Dr Thing and was totally impressed with all aspects of his work.

I valued the calm manner of Dr Thing. He was very thorough in his investigation of my presenting problem. He explained each result as they came in, allowing me to take on board at my pace the consequences of them. I trusted his advice, although felt I had the space to make my own choice about what to do I also felt very safe quickly with him I recommend Dr Thing and his calm efficient manner and thorough way of working with a patient

Dr Thing is fantastic. As a keen sports person the sudden onset of a bout of acute knee pain was most concerning, however following our consultation I felt immediately comforted that I was looking at something far less sinister than I had imagined. Confirmation of this through an MRI with solid advice on how to resolve and prevent recurrence of the issue all came as part of the package, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dr Thing to friends, family and colleagues.

Dr Thing has been great. Very personable and easy to talk to. I often ask lots of questions to try and understand my issue and manage it better, and Dr Thing has always taken the time explain things to me and I feel confident in his knowledge. The only "bad" thing about Dr Thing is his availability; he's clearly a popular consultant as his bookings fill up quickly!

I was referred to Dr James Thing by my Physio and visited him for the first time recently at The Highgate Hospital. Right from the off I found him very easy to relate to and explain and discuss my problems with. He was very thorough in his approach and through his examinations we established a course of treatment which proved to be extremely beneficial and I was very soon on the mend. Dr Thing is not a surgeon and as such seeks to do everything possible to avoid it, so if, like me, you’d like avoid this route as much as possible you’ll be in safe hands with Dr Thing and I would highly recommend him.
