Dr Janakan Natkunarajah a Dermatologist Clinical Lead at Kingston Hospital. In 2011, he was appointed to Kingston Hospital then went on and develop the dermatology service not only there, but at Raynes Park Health Centre. He is also involved with the Acute Dermatology Management at Kingston Hospital, Dr Natkunarajah received excellent patient feedback.
After receiving an exceptional Neuroscience BSc from Imperial College London in 1999, Dr Natkunarajah graduated in 2002. He has worked at several skillful dermatology centres, including Amersham Hospital and King’s College Hospital. His training took place locally through the St George’s/St Helier’s/Kingston rotation.
During his training, he received many awards at the Royal Society of Medicine, as well as the British Association of Dermatologists Annual Conference. He is an active teacher of dermatology to undergraduates and postgraduates. His passion for teaching is shown through his involvement in GP education. He is also involved in organising a GP skin club at Kingston Hospital.
As well as being a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians, Dr Natkunarajah is also the current South London British Association of Dermatology Regional representative. He is also the co-editor of the Clinical and Experimental Dermatology Journal. Dr Natkunarajah also ran in the London Marathon in 2015, raising more than £4000 for the British Skin Foundation.
