Dr Jeremy McNally was appointed as consultant rheumatologist at the Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation in April 2001. He treats rheumatology patients and acute general medical patients and is the clinical lead for osteoporosis and biologic therapies for West Berkshire. He has been the Director of Rheumatology Specialist Training for the Oxford Region since 2017.
He completed a 3-year fellowship in Rheumatology at the Hospital for Special Surgery at Cornell University in New York, USA. He was asked to return to lecture as visiting professor to New York Hospital Cornell University and to the New York rheumatism society.
Dr McNally has conducted clinical trials of novel (biologic) therapies for rheumatic diseases. He has publications in immunology and rheumatology peer-reviewed journals and has presented research findings at national and international conferences.
He is married to Allie and has two teenage boys, he has appeared in a sell out 3 man show at the Edinburgh Fringe. His current passion is Road Biking and the Irish Rugby team.
