Dr Jeronima Maria Alves Teixeira is a consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist based in central London.

Dr Teixeira has specialist interest in the initial phase of fertility treatment and the use of nanotechnology. She typically sees new mothers and patients struggling with infertility and menopause.

In her current position as a consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist, she carries out the following:

• Ultrasounds - including pelvic ultrasound
• Smear test
• Fertility treatment
• Maternal and foetal treatments
• Obstetrical ultrasonography
• Menopause treatment

Dr Teixeira received her medical degree in 1987 from the University of Porto. She also was awarded a PhD for her work on fetal medicine and ultrasound scanning from Imperial College London. She later specialised in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.

Following the completion of her medical degree, she carried out research at Queen Charlotte's Hospital and Chelsea and Westminster Hospital.

She has also published several papers on treatments and medications used in obstetrics and gynaecology. These have been published in renowned journals including the Lancet and American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
