Dr Jimmy Abraham works as a General Paediatric Consultant at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Woolwich and Queen Mary’s Hospital, Sidcup. His specialist interest is in paediatric allergy. He is also an Honorary Paediatric Allergy Consultant at Guy’s and St Thomas Hospital NHS Trust.
Following his undergraduate training which he completed in 1996, Dr Abraham obtained an MSc in Clinical Paediatrics during this time at University College London. His paediatric trianing was undertaken in London, during which he worked at various hospitals including Evelina Children's hospital, Royal Brompton hospital and Hammersmith hospital. Additionally, he did a year of paediatric research with Imperial College London based at the Hammersmith campus. He is currently the designated doctor for safeguarding children for NHS Greenwich.
Dr Abraham has a particular interest in respiratory and gastrointestinal problems related to allergy as well as other aetiology. His allergy training was at St Thomas' Hospital and at the same time he completed his Postgraduate Certificate in Allergy at Imperial College London.
