In 2008 he completed his training and became a consultant cardiologist at Southend Hospital and The Essex Cardiothoracic Centre.
Alongside his clinical experience and education, Dr Davies has received the award, honours in medicine and clinical pharmacology and therapeutics (Guy's Hospital Medical School, 1997). He has also conducted talks about stable angina, acute coronary syndrome, atrial fibrillation, heart failure and hypertension utilising his expertise and experience. He is also a member of The British Cardiovascular Society and a member of The British Cardiovascular Interventional Society.

I find Dr Davies very easy to talk to and he listens to my fears. He is both kind and understanding. Explains things simply and in away that doesn't make me feel that I am wasting his time. He is always smiling and extremely helpful. I feel comfortable and in good hands. Thank you

From Day One, Dr Davies identified the potential seriousness of my predicament, and acted decisively. He explained everything in detail, and made immediate interventions with medication to mitigate risk, prior to my procedure. Since then, he has continued to check on my progress, which has included an ultrasound cardiogram, as well as physical exertion testing. He is professional, decisive, and engaging.
