Dr Ketan Shah is a clinical oncologist working in Oxford and Buckinghamshire. He studied medicine in Cambridge and Oxford before pursuing postgraduate training in Clinical Oncology, qualifying in 2013. Clinical Oncologists in the UK specialise in both chemotherapy and radiotherapy. Ketan spent a year learning advanced radiotherapy techniques at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre in Melbourne, Australia, before returning to the UK as a consultant in 2014.
Between 2009 and 2012, he completed a DPhil in radiobiology at the University of Oxford, studying new imaging techniques to measure the effects of radiation and drugs on cancers.
