Dr Abel-Aziz is a consultant neurologist at St Peter's Hospital and St George' Hospital. 

Dr Abdel-Aziz completed higher specialist training in neurology at the Walton Centre for Neurology and Neurosurgery and developed his sub-specialty interest in multiple sclerosis during his time at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, where he was awarded a PhD by University College London for his investigative research into mechanisms of neurodegeneration and repair in multiple sclerosis. He now runs specialist clinics for patients with multiple sclerosis and neuroinflammatory disorders at St George's Hospital and St Peters Hospital.

Dr Abdel-Aziz's other main sub-specialty interest is  headache disorders and he runs the headache service at St Peters Hospital. 

He has published approximately 50 peer-reviewed papers and clinical abstracts covering varied topics of adult neurology with a particular focus on his areas of expertise. 

Dr Abel-Aziz personal interests are spending time with his young family and when time permits he enjoys playing squash, scuba diving and skiing.
