Dr Lisa Das is a Consultant Gastroenterologist at Bart’s and the London NHS Trust where she has the privilege to be the UK’s first Community Gastroenterology Consultant. She completed her undergraduate medical training at Guy’s Hospital Medical School in London and then completed her medical residency in Boston, USA. She finished her subspeciality training in Gastroenterology at Columbia University, New York in 1997 and holds both Board Certification in Gastroenterology (USA) and full accreditation on the UK General Medical Council's Specialist Register in Gastroenterology.
Lisa's vast expertise covers both diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy (gastroscopy and colonoscopy) and general Gastroenterology. She also has a specialist interest in Irritable bowel syndrome, abdominal pain/dyspepsia, gastrointestinal cancer screening, obesity, inflammatory bowel disease, gastro-oesophageal reflux, gastrointestinal bleeding, and abnormal liver function.
Lisa strives to deliver care at the highest standards and welcomes all enquiries locally and internationally. Early assessment and evaluation can make all the difference in one's health.
She is pleased to help those specifically fefefe a female gastroenterologist allowing for a focused emphasis on women’s gastroenterology.
During her spare time, Lisa enjoys travelling, running, culinary experimentation and motorbikes.

Wednesday: The London Clinic 116 Harley Street 13:00 - 17:00
Thursday: London Independent 16:00 - 18:30 (every 2nd and 4th Thursday of month)
