Luciano Nardo is a consultant gynaecologist and subspecialist in reproductive medicine and surgery. He trained in Italy, London and Manchester before being appointed as a consultant in gynaecology and reproductive medicine at St Mary's Hospital in Manchester where he worked until 2011.
Today he is Board and Clinical Director of Reproductive Health Group and the HFEA (Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority) Person Responsible for the Centre for Reproductive Health at Daresbury, Cheshire. He is also Visiting Professor at Manchester Metropolitan University and University of Catania.
Luciano has clinical interests in all aspects of reproductive medicine and surgery, gynarcological endocrinology, pelvic pain, menstural disorders and hysteroscopic management of uterine abnormalities. He has experience in advanced laparascopic surgery for the treatment of endometriosis, adhesions, fibroids, ovarian cysts, tubal surgery and other benign gynacological conditions.
He has strong interest in research and has published over 95 papers in the fields of gynarcology and reproductive medicine.
