Dr Malcolm Prentice qualified at King’s College Hospital and has a BSc in Pharmacology from King’s College, London.
He is co-author of the National Guidelines for the Management of Differentiated Thyroid Cancer and was one of the first in the UK to set up a one-stop thyroid nodule clinic with ultrasound in 1990.
Later in his career, Dr Prentice initiated the National Training Course for Thyroid Ultrasound and Biopsy jointly with the support of the Royal College of Radiologists which he has run since 2005. To date, Dr Prentice has over twenty years of consultant management of acute medical emergencies and outpatient medical clinics.
