Mr Manish Chand is a General Surgeon currently working at the private practise The London Clinic and his NHS base is University College London Hospital. His specialism is lower gastrointestinal surgery and his areas of interest are colorectal cancer, minimally invasive surgery, laparoscopic colorectal surgery and colonoscopy.
Mr Chand attained a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from The Royal Free Hospital and Kings College London and a Bachelor of Science in Neurosciences (1st Class with Distinction) in 2002. He undertook training in the Wessex region including being Registrar at the prestigious North Hampshire Hospital in Basingstoke. He also trained in advanced laparoscopic techniques and robotic surgery for colorectal cancer.
Mr Chand is a Fellow of The Royal College of Surgeons in 2015 and a Fellow of the American Society of Colorectal Surgeons in 2018. He is also interested in research with interests in colorectal cancer, surgical technology - Virtual Reality and fluorescence guided surgery; he has published in many peer reviewed scientific journals.
