Dr. Marcia Hall is a consultant medical oncologist (cancer doctor) based at Mount Vernon Cancer Centre, Northwood, which is part of East and West Herts NHS Trust. Other NHS sites she works across include Heatherwood and Wexham Park NHS Foundation Trust and Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. She sees private patients at King Edward VII Hospital, Windsor; Spire Thames Valley Hospital and BMI Bishops Wood Hospital. Dr. Hall trained at Guys' Hospital Medical School and qualified in 1986. Following her specialist cancer training, she completed a PhD in Cell Cycle Laboratory at the Imperial Cancer Research Fund (now Cancer Research UK). She was appointed a consultant in 1999 at Mount Vernon Cancer Centre.
Dr. Hall's main area of specialist interest is the management of gynaecological cancers, especially ovarian cancer. She also sees patients with colorectal cancer. Dr. Hall is heavily involved with research into ovarian cancer and has been a member of the UK National Cancer Research Institute (NCRI) Ovarian Cancer Study Group since 2010, helping to plan research for ovarian cancer nationally. Her aim is to keep as many clinical trial opportunities open for her patients as possible.
