A very positive experience indeed. With my symptoms improving, the doctor took a pragmatic, but most importantly, extra cautious and thorough approach to my condition. This, in turn, diagnosed and allowed treatment of a more serious health issue that I in fact had. Without this approach I would have suffered a much worse health condition in the future. This would not have been recognised without Dr Pitchers care, experience and intuition in digging deeper into my symptoms. Finally once this was recognised it was dealt with sensitively and in a very timely way.

Dr Pitcher provided a first class service. He was very easy to speak to, informative and very helpful. The procedure and follow up appointment were arranged very efficiently. He also gave me reassurance and a pathway to follow going forward. Couldn’t ask for more. Excellent.

Dr Martin took extra efforts last evening to wait and see me through the scan etc even after his hours weee over. He later called me to check how I was doing . Really appreciate

Dr Maxton Pitcher was from the very start, friendly, helpful and informative. After years of mis diagnosis leading to a very traumatic time and dangerous weight loss of our daughter, I found Dr Pitcher who was able to diagnose our daughters illness after one meeting and confirm after a couple of other needed tests. To say we are grateful is an understatement. Dr Pitcher was always courteous and informative throughout the process.

Dr Pitcher was charming, engaging and explained everything in a simple way so I understood. He was interested in me as a person and not just as a number. He made me laugh which is the best medicine you can provide. Thank you

Mr Roy Farrell
Dr Maxton Pitcher is an expert gastroenterologist and a trusted colleague whom I hold in high regard. I have known Dr Pitcher for a longtime. I had the pleasure of working with him at St Mark’s where I was able to see what a skilled endoscopist he is. I also value his opinion immensely on all gastroenterology matters. I regularly refer patients to him. I would not hesitate to recommend him to both patients and friends who require an expert gastroenterology opinion.
