Dr Menaz Akhtar graduated from Harris Manchester College, University of Oxford and currently practices in a lead position at a well established national psychological therapies service. She is an extremely capable individual who dedicates herself to working with efficiency and along evidence-based guidelines. Owing to her extensive medical expertise and experience, she is able to assess people across the spectrum of ‘common’ and complex psychological difficulties.
She is passionate about teaching, training and supervision and currently oversees the clinical work of a number of experienced BABCP accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapists. She has lectured for Universities and provides training to health professionals within the National Health Service. Her clear, coherent and compelling presentations integrate theory, research, innovation and practical skills. These captivate the audience and reinforce the learning that is being delivered.
