Dr Michael Husbands is a Anaesthesia and Pain Management Consultant specialising in the diagnosis and treatment of chronic pain.
After graduating from medical school, Dr Husbands then chose to further his a career in Anaesthesia and Pain Management by undertaking Post Graduate training at Barts Health NHS Trust in London. This opportunity provided him with exposure to advanced pain management techniques and the latest technologies.
His clinical interests lie in multidisciplinary approaches to pain medicine with the focus of reducing unnecessary pain. Dr Husbands delivers in-patient pain management at St Richard’s Hospital, Chichester where he is involved in training and teaching pharmacists, hospital doctors and GP’s. He is a member of the Royal College of Anaesthetists, the British Pain Society and the International Association for the Study of Pain.
Outside of work, Dr Husbands enjoys spending time with his wife and three young children.
