Professor Mike Loosemore is a well-experienced Consultant in Sports & Exercise Medicine at Marylebone Health and the Institute of Sport, Exercise, and Health. He has several years of experience in the treatment and management of musculoskeletal and sports injuries and actively promotes exercise as a way to prevent and treat an array of medical conditions. He is also a specialist in concussions in both adults and children.

During his career, Professor Loosemore has treated athletes from various sports and is currently Team Doctor to the British Boxing and British Snowsports teams. He has held the position of Chief Medical Officer and has traveled as a team doctor to both Olympic and Commonwealth Games for Team England - New Delhi (2010),  Glasgow (2014), Beijing (2022), and Paris (2024).

Professor Loosemore also has several years of research experience and has published widely in the field. He is also passionate about educating future Sport & Exercise Medicine doctors and uses his expertise to educate in his position of Head of Speciality for Sports and Exercise Medicine Training in London.

As a testament to his exceptional work, he was awarded an Honorary Doctorate for "outstanding contribution to sport and exercise medicine". He also received the Sir Robert Atkins Award for in 2014.
