After finishing his higher psychiatry training at SLaM he worked as a consultant psychiatrist for almost a year at the same organization before moving to work in central London at Camden and Islington NHS Foundation Trust. After appointments on GPs and years of wrong diagnostics from psychiatrists, Dr. Abdelghani was the first one that fully listened and understood the whole picture of the issues I was presenting. He went through a full evaluation from childhood to adulthood and could identify the source of the issues. He was clear on the path we should take and how it would improve all the concerns I had. I'm very satisfied so far.

Dr Mohamed is absolutely the best psychiatrist I have visited. Prior to my visit to Dr. Mohamed I have tried two other psychiatrists that could not resolve and understand my issue. Dr Mohamed was very clear with explaining everything I need to know and is very easy to communicate with. I couldn’t thank him enough for helping me find a solution to a life long problem.

I was dreading this appointment because there was a question of bipolarity and borderline personality. I am 72, with multiple other conditions, I was fearful of a new diagnoses. (I've known about my ADHD for 20+ years.) it took only a few minutes to realise that I was in a safe place. I knew he wasn't going to be a jerk or judgemental. That he understood a lot about ADHD. As we went through the session he was very good at explaining and also good at keeping the process (which is long) moving forward. As he could he would let me know when those potential diagnoses had been ruled out. He was also directive, which felt very correct. Friendly and persuasive. In the situation that felt right. He was a very good listener to an ADHD person. Quick to allow me to interrupt if I had more to ask, add or reflect upon. I know where I stand in the process with the NHS, my GP and my specialists. I know a good deal about the suggested drug and dosage. I also know plan B if for some reason I can't take the drug (drug drug interactions with other drugs I'm taking) or it doesn't work. I don't have a lot of money and he was very careful about that and had workarounds, within the NHS, wtih my GP, etc, for how I could save money. I learned a lot about myself. I wish I'd done this years ago. Very satisfied. Eager to proceed.
