Dr. Mohjir Baloch is a consulting Doctor of Pain Management that currently practices at a large number of hospitals around the UK, including locations in Guildford, Windsor, Chiswick, and Farnham. His NHS base is Frimley Park Hospital where he is the lead clinician, but he practices at many private hospital locations as well. His patients know him as a doctor who listens to their concerns and takes the time and effort to explain their options, procedures, and answer their questions, something that sets him apart from many other doctors.
Dr. Baloch began his medical training with an MBBS from the Guy's and St. Thomas's Medical School at the University of London in 1997. He proceeded to receive medical training from the Royal Free Hospital, Royal London Hospital, and St. Bartholomew's Hospital rotations. After completing his general medical training, Dr. Baloch went on to receive speciality training in anaesthetics and pain medicine, first on the South Thames rotation and later via a specialized fellowship for a year at St. Bartholomew's and WhippsCross Hospitals.
In addition to his educational training, Dr. Baloch has several professional society affiliations as well, including membership in the Royal College of Anaesthetics, the Association of Anaesthetics, the British Pain Society, the European Society of Regional Anaesthesia and Pain Medicine, and the Faculty of Pain Medicine.
Dr. Baloch's particular pain management interests focus on interventional pain medicine, and he is active on the lecture circuit on these topics both domestically and internationally. He is also very interested in teaching and training pain management concepts to others and organizes an ultrasound-guided pain intervention course for international participation through the Royal College of Physicians.
For patients suffering from acute or chronic pain, whether from sports injuries, spine disorders, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, or other conditions, the pain relief options that Dr. Baloch can offer can be a godsend. These include ultrasound-guided pain injections, patch therapy for nerve pain, trigger point injections, and much more. An appointment with Dr. Baloch can be the first step towards living with less pain and having a better quality of life.
