Dr Neeraja Kuruba is a consultant at the Norfolk and Norwich hospital with broad experience in general gynaecology. She completed her basic and postgraduate training in India, undertaking further specialist training in the East of England deanery including advanced training skills in benign laparoscopic surgery, vaginal surgery and urogynaecology.

Dr Kuruba specialises in outpatient hysteroscopy, laparoscopy and urogynaecology, and is an expert in treating menstrual disorders, prolapse, pelvic pain. She is in favour of minimal access surgery and day-case surgeries with early return to work, and has a special interest in ambulatory gynaecology.

In addition to clinical work, Dr Kuruba is an honorary senior lecturer and Obstetrics & Gynaecology module lead at the University of East Anglia Medical school, where she enjoys teaching and training young doctors. While also aiding in the development of guidelines as a member of the RCOG guideline committee.
