Dr Philippa Bennett is a Consultant in Sports and Exercise Medicine, paying special interest to injury prevention, injury rehabilitation and maximising performance. She works closely with surgical and radiology colleagues at the Fortius Clinic and is able to diagnose and advise on a wide range of conditions. Striving to help patients remain active, she always takes a holistic approach to treatment considering surgical and non surgical options.
After obtaining her medical degree from the University of Leeds, Dr Bennett undertook a postgraduate degree in Sport and Exercise Medicine at Bath University.
Within the field, she has extensive experience working with a wide range of sports.She has been the Chief Medical Officer for both the England Womens Football teams and British Gymnastics. At present, Dr Bennett works as a Sports Physician for Norwich City Football Club and also as the Chief Medical Officer to the British Equestrian Federation.
She has previously worked with Team GB at two Olympic Games, two Summer World University Games and one Winter University Games.
