Dr Previn Diwakar is a Consultant Radiologist who specialises in Interventional Radiology, sub-specialising in venous disease. He currently works at Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University Hospital NHS Trust and provides a private practice through The Whiteley Clinic, utilising The Whiteley Protocol® to maximise patient outcomes.

Dr Diwakar earned his MBBS from the University of London, graduating in 1997. After completing his foundation training he then went on to train in plastic surgery in Salisbury and Chelmsford, earning his MRCS in 2000. Dr Diwakar then went on to specialise in endovascular interventional radiology, training at Barts & The Royal London Hospital and starting as a Consultant at East Kent Hospital in 2007.

Outside of his clinical practice, Dr Diwakar has published research on pelvic vein embolisation in several peer-reviewed journals and textbooks and lectures on the subject internationally. At home he loves food and cooking for his friends and family.
