Dr Rajdeep Khattar has over 10 years' experience as a consultant cardiologist. He joined Royal Brompton & Harefield NHS Foundation Trust from Manchester Heart Centre and is an honorary clinical senior lecturer at Imperial College.
Mr Khattar has a Doctor of Medicine postgraduate degree and Fellowships with the Royal College of Physicians, American College of Cardiology and the European Society of Cardiology. he is also an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer with The National Heart and Lung Institute, Imperial College, London with active ongoing research interests.
He performs general cardiology clinics and has extensive experience in both advanced echocardiography and percutaneous coronary intervention. He routinely performs stress and contrast echocardiography, transesophageal echocardiography, 3-D echocardiography, coronary angioplasty and stent implantation.
He has written book chapters and has numerous publications in a broad range of heart conditions with a particular interest in chest pain assessment, coronary heart disease, valve disease and heart failure.
