About

Dr Rajib Dutta is a Pain Management Consultant and has been working at Ashford St Peter's Hospital for the last 7 years. He also works in partnership with Surrey Total Health. He trained in pain medicine and anaesthetic at hospitals in South East England including Guys and St Thomas Hospitals and Kings College Hospital. He gained his FRCA and FFPMRCA qualifications from the Royal Colege of Anaesthetists in the UK. 

 

Dr Dutta's has experience managing pain with a variety of causes including post-surgical pain and chronic pain. He uses multimodal and multidisciplinary techniques to manage patients with chronic pain; he uses a combination of medicines and physiotherapy. He is skilled in ultrasound-guided nerve injections and x-ray guided facet joint radiofrequency ablation, sacroiliac joint denervation and selective nerve root blocks. He also regularly teaches and trains GPs and Physiotherapists in chronic pain management. He Dutta is a member of the British pain Society and a Fellow of the Royal College of Anaesthetists.
