Dr Ralph is an exceptionally well trained consultant in Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine. He has fittingly sporty beginnings after gaining a sports scholarship for lacrosse at the University of Delaware, where he obtained a degree in Psychology. But this globetrotting doctor wasn’t to be tied down and travelled to Europe to attend the University of Leuven where he received his medical training in Flemish.
After graduating, Ralph returned to the USA to pursue a PhD in Exercise Psychology at the University of Maryland, where he was also awarded a Research Fellowship from the National Institute of Health (NIH). Next on the agenda was a return to Belgium where Ralph completed a Sports Medicine Fellowship at the Free University of Brussels.
Europe captivated Ralph’s imagination and he headed to England where he established a thriving private medical practice in Birmingham. A consistent progression of education is vital to Ralph’s philosophy so he continued his studies at the University of Leicester, gaining an MBA and researching ‘Organisational Networking in Sports Medical Services in English Professional Football’. He also recently completed a Master’s of Science (MSc) in Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Imaging with the use of Platelet Rich Plasma. For an individual with such an esteemed background and a wealth of outstanding qualifications, London’s prestigious Harley Street seemed the next logical step. Ralph is currently the leading sports and orthopaedic doctor at 108 Harley Street.
