Dr Rebecca Lane qualified from St George’s Hospital Medical School in and then completed her specialist training in Cardiology within the London Deanery. Having worked at Harefield Hospital since 2004, she was appointed as a Consultant Interventional Radiologist in 2008.
Rebecca offers a wide range of procedures including coronary angioplasty, device implantation incorporating all types of pacemakers, defibrillators and cardiac resynchronization therapy and laser lead extraction. Her vast experience includes managing patients with coronary artery disease, valve disease, heart failure, and arrhythmias. She is particularly interested in heart failure and she developed and currently runs the rapid access heart failure service at Harefield Hospital.
Rebecca is a keen teacher and is currently the Clinical Tutor at Harefield. In addition, she is the Deputy Training Programme Director for specialist registrar training in North West London with responsibility for approximately 70 cardiology trainees.
