Dr Richard Coelho is a Consultant Dermatologist. He attended the University of Cambridge and achieved a qualification in BA Medical Sciences - Part II Neuroscience. He then achieved an MBBS at St. Georges, University of London.
His medical speciality includes General Dermatology and he provides consultation on a range of skin conditions, including skin cancer, acne, eczema, psoriasis and rashes. He also performs skin operations.
Dr Coelho underwent training in Dermatology at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital. He then worked as a Consultant Dermatologist at Queen Mary's Hospital in Roehampton and at St Georges Hospital in London. He is now working at St. Helier Hospital. He has won two prizes from the Royal Society of Medicine as a Dermatology Registrar, in which he is also a member of and he presents his work on Dermatology at national meetings. He is an active associate of the British Association of Dermatologists (BAD), and a co-author of the British Association of Dermatologists' Guidelines for the investigation and management of generalized pruritus in adults without an underlying dermatosis, 2018.
